The annual 2023 NACCHO Members Conference in Noongar Boodjar (Perth) in October showcased the important work being conducted by the ACCHO sector across Australia.
More than 800 delegates from ACCHOs around Australia attended the event, which was themed ‘Working together, we are stronger’. The event was held from 24-26 October 2023 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
NACCHO members and affiliates attended numerous sessions on topics including rheumatic heart disease, men’s and women’s health, prison health care, emergency response plans and more.
The NACCHO AGM and EGM were also held on Tuesday, 24 October. A motion at the EGM to pass resolutions to amend the Constitution were unsuccessful.
A Gala Dinner, featuring some top karaoke performances from Members and Federal Minister for Health and Aged Care, the Hon. Mark Butler MP, was a great way for delegates to unwind after a big first day.
