The Queensland Clinical Senate (QCS) Executive (QCSE) team is calling for health professionals to join its team.

The QCS helps guide Queensland’s health system, focusing on quality, affordable, and efficient patient care.

There are regional positions open to all disciplines.

Metropolitan and rural and remote positions are open for nursing and midwifery, Allied Health, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander healthcare professionals.

Members of the QCSE represent various clinical disciplines and geographic regions of Queensland. They provide strategic advice and leadership on system-wide healthcare issues. QCSE ensures a balanced representation of clinicians and geographic areas.

Members must contribute their expertise and perspectives at QCS and QCSE meetings.

Experience is required in health planning, workforce development, clinician support, and retention, especially in regional and remote areas.

They will also require knowledge of primary care, including Primary Health Networks, telehealth, and innovative practices.

Candidates should submit a resume and a 1–2-page letter highlighting relevant experience and interest.
