As of 31 January, fully vaccinated adults who had at least three months since their last COVID-19 vaccination have become eligible for a booster shot.
From 1 February, approximately 16 million Australians were eligible to take advantage of either the Comirnaty (Pfizer) or Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) booster dose.
At the time of writing, there are 9,182,529 Australians who have received their third dose of vaccine, with 1,642,665 of them Queenslanders.
